BIO
I graduated from Loyola University in 1986, double majoring in Political Science and English, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After working as a legal secretary for a year, I went back to school and earned my Juris Doctorate degree from IIT-Chicago Kent Law School in 1990. I was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in 1990. I served as a DuPage County Assistant State's Attorney from 1990 – 2001 working in the criminal division. I prosecuted everything from traffic tickets to death penalty murderers. Thereafter, I continued to practice law as a municipal attorney, working for a couple of local governments, and in a couple of mid-sized law firms. Since 2001, I have been a municipal attorney, criminal defense attorney, family law attorney and juvenile defense attorney. I am certified as a Guardian Ad Litem. I am committed to providing the highest quality of services to my clients. The majority of my work day is spent in the courtroom. Litigation comprises approximately 90% of my practice.
